Product Description:
Silver Jasmine is made from premium Fuding Da Bai and Da Hao tea trees grown in Mt Taimu, Fujian. Fusing the finest hand-picked teas from the high-elevation gardens with gentle, floral tones of Jasmine. A fragrant jasmine scented green tea, Jasmine tea buds marries the delicate scent of jasmine blossoms.
The tea buds are harvested in the early spring and stored until the late summer when fresh jasmine flowers are in bloom. Jasmine flowers are picked in the late afternoon when the small petals are tightly closed. In the early evening, when the flowers begin to open, the tea is blended with Jasmine flowers and stored overnight. During the night jasmine flowers open, bloom and release their fragrance into the tea. It takes over four hours for the tea to absorb the fragrance and flavor of the jasmine blossoms. This scenting process is repeated for as many as six times. The result is a very smooth, flavorful green tea with a gentle hint of Jasmine, refreshing and energising.
How to Brew Jasmine Green Tea:
1. Rinse tea cup/pot and teapot with hot water.
2. Use about 2.5 - 3 grams of tea leaves (1-2.5 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water.
3. The water temperature should be 95C or 203F for about 2-3 minute.
4. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
Storage:
Protect against the tide, peculiar smell, keeps in low temperature and refrigerates it.
